PAUL MCCARTNEY'S DEATH CONSPIRACY THEORY
PAUL MCCARTNEY'S DEATH CONSPIRACY THEORY
According to some fans, the famous bassist of the
Beatles would be dead ... Since 1966! Alright, I know you think it's crazy. However,
many "proofs" support this theory…
The legend about Paul McCartney's death is one of the
first and most famous conspiracy theories in the history of Rock ; killed in a
car accident, the singer of the Beatles was replaced in the biggest secret by a
look-alike to allow the group to continue its lucrative business, a billion CDs
and vinyls sold to date ... And if none of the other members of the group have
never officially spoken about the affair, John, Ringo and George have,
throughout their career, multiplied references and tributes to their comrade
too soon disappeared …
Paul McCartney is still active today, so it may seems
completely crazy to think that he would be “dead”. And yet, there is a plethora
of "proofs", which may put you in doubt ... For a few seconds maybe…

The rumor was born after the release of the album "Abbey Road", in 1969. The triggering event is the famous record sleeve of the
four Beatles crossing a London pedestrian crossing. Because, for who knows how
to read between the white lines, the proofs of death are innumerable! Judge by
yourself: Paul is walking barefoot, but in the Indian tradition, it is barefoot
that we are going to the “other world”. His companions dressed in white (the
color of mourning in Asia), black (idem in the West) or denim (holding
gravediggers), also refer to the death. The license plate of the car on the
left of the image (LMW281F) can be read as a code "Living, McCartney would
be 28 if…”.
Supreme proof, Paul holds a cigarette in his right
hand while he is left-handed (so it's a look-alike that has been
photographed!). Other covers can intrigue: that of "Yesterday and Today" where we
see the singer squatting in an open trunk (his coffin?). Surrounded by his three
saddened friends, or that of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on which he
appears wearing an open hand (mortuary symbol in the Celtic tradition) and
holds a black instrument.
The songs, too, are dotted with messages and hints.
We'll remember this passage from "I'm so Tired" in which the incomprehensible
words uttered by Lennon find their meaning when they are turned upside down and
that we can hear "Paul is dead now, miss him, miss him ... Or in the end
of Strawberry Fields Forever, when he whispers "I buried Paul". And so what if later he said he mumbled
"cranberry sauce". Lennon is no longer there to talk about it
(murdered because he knew too much?).
In 1993, Paul McCartney, that this rumor amused a lot,
will refer to it while pastichant the cover of Abbey Road. On the same pedestrian
crossing, he is accompanied by his dog but, this time, the license plate of the
car is "51 IS", attesting that he is alive and that he is 51 years
old. The title of the album? Paul is Live.
What do you think?
